Why Having The Holy Ghost Is Mandatory If You Call Yourself A Christian

So, if you are a consistent listener of this Podcast then you know that I said in my last message that I would be doing this one. I didn’t mention it by title because I didn’t have one. And but also, the reason that I am doing this very message is that there is a message within the message. The back story is that I was to by providing some revelation on Proverbs chapter 8, at our prayer meeting. It is the scripture that God gave our church this last new years eve, and but in the middle of the prayer meeting God shifted gears and dropped a seasonal seed message right in place of what He was bringing us into regarding a revival season. It is titled, “What Time Is It Right Now Seasonally Speaking” and was posted April 19, 2026.

So, what does wisdom have to do with anybody right? Nothing, if you don’t think it is the most valuable thing to operate in. Every human has completely ignored Gods wisdom in many parts of their lives without doubt. The non-believing community gets wisdom confused with fear and intelligence. But I would say that they have misdiagnosed their insight. Before we move too far down the road we need to distinguish the three types or sources of wisdom that exist today.

The three sources of wisdom are as follows:

1)    God: Proverbs chapter 2 and 8

We will take a look at these scriptures in a bit:

2)    Lucifer/Satan: Ezekiel 28:12-17 and James 3:13-15

Thanks for joining me. Let's open up in prayer. Blessed be the God and Father of your Lord Jesus Christ who has blessed you with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ. Just as he chose you and him before the foundation of the world, that you should be holy and without blame before him in love, having predestined you to adoption as a son or daughter by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, which he purposed in himself, to the praise of the glory of his grace, by which he made you accepted in the beloved. In him ye have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace which he made to abound towards you in all wisdom and prudence, having made known to you the mystery of his will, that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times, he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth in him. Ask that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation, in the knowledge of the mystery of him, ah, and to the deepest knowledge of him that you are willing and able to receive, that the eyes of your understanding would be opened wider, and that you would be enlightened to who he is, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in you, and what is the exceeding greatness of his power towards you, who believe according to the working of his mighty power, which he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him in his right hand in the heavenly places, that he would grant that you would be strengthened with might through his spirit in the inner man, and into your spirit and heart, and that you would be able to stand against your flesh, this world, and the devil, and into any and all temptation. I ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will and all wisdom and spiritual understanding, that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing him, being fruitful in every good work, strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, and all patience and long-suffering with joy, giving thanks to the Father who has qualified you to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints who walk in the light. I pray that your hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love and unity, and that you would attain to all the riches of the full assurance of understanding, both of the Father and of Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which has been given to each of my listeners by Christ Jesus, that you are enriched in everything by him, in all utterance and all knowledge, so that you do not come short in obtaining or operating in your calling and purpose, nor in using any spiritual gifts or talents, eagerly waiting for the continued revelation of our Lord Jesus, who will confirm you to the end, that you may be blameless in the near coming of the day of our Lord. God is faithful by whom you are called into the fellowship of His Son Jesus. Okay, so now therefore, my sisters and brothers in Christ, when things get tough, think about whatever things are true, noble, just, pure, lovely, and whatever things are of a good report. If there is any virtue, and if there is anything praiseworthy, meditate on these things alone. I pray that in these very days that you would let your love be without hypocrisy, hate and loathe what is evil, cling to what is good and righteous, be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another, not lagging in diligence, fervent and fully engulfed in spiritual fire, serving the Lord, rejoicing in hope, walking in the peace of God, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfast in prayer, distributing to the needs of the saints, that is each other, and that you would be given to hospitality. May the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like minded towards one another, according to Christ Jesus, that we learn to be of one mind, in one accord, operating completely and fully in love and unity, always striving for the working out of God's specific will for each of our lives, while working in partnership with each other, within the church and the Holy Spirit, as he manifests his miracle signs and wonders through the daily activities of our ministry and kingdom work. And while we also go out preaching the gospel in word and deed, let us love and serve one another, our enemy, and those who wouldn't expect us to do so, considering each person better than ourselves. Bind up any words or thoughts that are contrary to the love of God, or which would set you back in your Christian walk. I'll step out in faith today and walk with God, being assured that nothing will separate you from him as long as you abide in him. Call those things that don't exist as though they do. Remember, he that is in you is greater than he that is in the world. Be more than a conqueror today, submitting to the will of God in everything. Let each of us express uncompromising love towards one another in humility while maintaining a teachable spirit. I pray that God will give you the revelation within this message that he intends you to receive with the understanding. Give it a listen before it's too late to plant, and you end up with nothing during harvest time. So what does wisdom have to do with anybody, right? Key names and positions attributed to the devil, Satan, adversary or opponent, Job one, six and Matthew four ten. The devil, slanderer or false accuser, Matthew four one and Revelation twelve nine, the serpent or serpent of old, referring to the deception of Eve, Genesis three and Revelation twelve nine, Lucifer, day star or morning star, often linked to his fall, Isaiah fourteen twelve, Belzebule or Belzebub, Prince of Demons, Lord of the Flies, Matthew twelve twenty-four. Tempter, he tempts people to sin, first Thessalonians three five. Father of lies, he is the originator of deceit, John eight, forty four, ruler or god of this world or age indicates his present influence, John twelve thirty one and second Corinthians four four. It also says in the Bible that the whole world lies under the sway of the evil one. So I guess that could be one of his other names. He's a sway. Okay. Accuser of our brethren charges believers before God. Revelation twelve ten. Angel of light disguises himself to deceive. Second Corinthians eleven fourteen. Prince of the power of the air indicates spiritual dominion. Ephesians two Bela, worthless one or lawless one, Second Corinthians six, fifteen, Apollyon or Abidon, the destroyer slash angel of the bottomless pit, Revelation nine eleven, roaring lion, seeking to devour eight, evil one highlights his character, Matthew thirteen, nineteen. These names are drawn from Old and New Testaments, illustrating his role as a spiritual enemy and tempter. Now I got these of course from Google AI. Why did I include this bit in a message on wisdom? Because some people in their lack of Bible knowledge believe in false teaching or just plain ignorance, stating that there is no devil, and but I would say if they were correct, and of course they are not, then many of the scriptures regarding his wily ways would have to be removed from the Bible. Second Corinthians two nine through eleven. For to this end I also wrote that I might put you to the test, whether you are obedient in all things. Now whom you forgive anything, I also forgive, for if indeed I have forgiven anything, I have forgiven that one for your sakes in the presence of Christ. This is Paul talking. eleven least Satan should take advantage of us, for we are not ignorant of his devices. Let's look at just a couple of other scriptures, and we don't forget to catch the wisdom bits, parts and pieces. Ezekiel twenty eight twelve through seventeen. Son of man take up a lamentation for the king attire, and say to him, Thus says the Lord God, you were the seal of perfection. Many, including myself, believe this applies to Satan. Full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. Think about this. Lucifer was full of wisdom before he fell. Hm, so I wonder what happened to his wisdom after he fell. Keep an open ear. You were in Eden, verse thirteen, the garden of God. Every precious stone was your covering, Tassardis, topaz and diamond, barrel, onyx and jasper, sapphire, turquoise and emerald with gold. The workmanship of your trembles and pipes were prepared for you on the day you were created. You were the anointed cherub who covers. I established you. You were on the holy mountain of God. You walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones. You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, till iniquity was found in you. By the abundance of your trading you became filled with violence within, and you sinned. Therefore I cast you as a profane thing out of the mountain of God, and I destroyed you, O covering cherub, from the midst of the fiery stones. Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty. You corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor. Notice it doesn't say destroyed or cut off access to wisdom, but that it states corrupted is wisdom, which tells us now that he is down here exercising corrupted wisdom. And those who serve him, which is everyone who rejects Jesus Christ as their Savior, also is corrupted by Satan's corrupted wisdom. Now we also know that he is titled the Father of Lies, so his wisdom is based in pride, fear, and finds a place in you when you are absent of the Word of God working in your life. Jesus said to them, If God were your father, you would love me, for I proceeded forth and came from God, nor have I come of myself. But he sent me. Why do you not understand my speech? Because you are not able to listen to my words. You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning. We're talking about his first son, Cain, but that's for another message. Wait, I've already done three or four on that. Go give him a listen. And does not stand in the truth. Because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it. Satan's wisdom is based in lies. I recently watched again a movie titled The Social Dilemma on Netflix. And but what I found so astounding is the fact that even though movies like this exist, the hours people spend consuming the data that social media is spoon feeding them is beyond astronomical. One of the points of this fascination was the fact that for every truth posted, there are six or seven lies, and but rather than fact checking them, those same social media platforms that scream that they have your best interest at heart use those lies to drive you to more lies and deception. The people who used to work for these companies stated that the lies are strategically used. Listen to this excerpt. The social dilemma states that lies and misinformation are purposefully amplified by social media algorithms because they generate more engagement and profit than truth, spreading six times faster. Yes, the lies on your phone spread six times faster, but that's not the real damage. The real damage is that you believe them. Masses of people believe them. We saw this in a global epically fashion back around 2016. The platform algorithms prioritize engagement over accuracy, resulting in the spread of fake news for economic gain and behavior manipulation. Yes, your cell phone, laptop, computers are being programmed and have been for quite a while now, for economic gain and behavioral manipulation. Listen, the reason why all of that stuff is free is because you became the product. It's happening at the speed of light. Entire political agendas have been swayed by these lies. What else do you think is going to happen when the Antichrist gets a hold of that technology, of which he is the one back of perpetuating it? Key points regarding the purposefulness of lies in the film include profit driven. Falsehood sells better. Did you hear that? Lies sell better. And an algorithmic amplification leads to higher ad revenue, means more money. Selling certainly in behavior modification. Rapid spread. Misinformation spreads six times faster than the truth on platforms like Twitter, and I'm sure Facebook and some of those other ones are also included. Can you believe it? We actually perpetuate the problem without any basis or knowledge that it's actually true. Oh, we gotta see it, it's coming, it's already here. Polarization. Algorithms create in part an echo chamber by feeding users biased information, which creates fake news and fuels societal polarization. In other words, racism will never go away as long as they keep perpetuating it as a problem. I know some of you are still not going to believe it, and yet it's happening right under our noses. Manipulation. Lies are not just accidental. They are part of a system that brainwashes users, targeting democratic countries and manipulating opinions to fit a narrative. And that's the information you need is what is the narrative. Disinformation types. The documentary highlights various forms of misinformation, including fake news and rumor bombs, as intentional tools to manipulate public opinion. And the only reason they're successful is because you actually believe it. We gotta get this. This is the only reason that they are successful is because you actually believe the lies. And those lies are rooted in the father of lies, that is the devil himself. Does this sound like the work of Satan or the Antichrist who is soon to appear and to deceive billions of people? Yes it is. It is a demonic setup, but few people are paying attention to this. How many people have been videoed spouting a lie as if it were the truth? We are right now a test market for the fullest manipulation of data to use lies to distort the truth, and to activate hate and violence on an epic scale. And yes, I want to get back to finishing Ezekiel twenty eight twelve through seventeen, but one last thing as I believe this information will save many souls who might actually pursue the truth of God. But for those that don't, and this should strip the color from your face if you are one that falls into this category. What is worse as we draw closer to the finish line is that you are believing the lies of the devil, you will also be let loose to believe that deception. Second Thessalonians two eleven and for this reason God will send them a strong delusion that they should believe the lie. Still think you're in charge? Think again God loves you too much. And also Romans one eighteen through thirty two. For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth and unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them, for since the creation of the world his invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse. Because although they knew God, they did not glorify him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools. Notice they thought that they were wise, but their wisdom was grounded in Satan's corrupt wisdom, and in the weak and ignorant wisdom of the world. twenty three, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man, and birds and four footed animals and creepy things. Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanliness, in the lust of their hearts to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served a creature rather than the creator, who was blessed forever amen. For this reason God gave them up to vile passions, for even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature, likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting, being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetedness, maliciousness, full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil mindedness. They are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful, who, knowing the righteous judgments of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only to do the same, but also approve of those who practice them. Okay, so in the scripture, where God said that he also gave them up to uncleanness, God gave them up to vile passions, and God gave them over to a debased mind. These things people willingly chose to do. Yes, they used their free will to rebel against God. And so but doesn't this sound like someone else we have already spoken of? Isaiah fourteen, twelve through fifteen. How you have fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning, how you were cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations, for you have said in your heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God. I will also sit on a mount of the congregation, on the farthest sides of the north, I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the most high. Yet you shall be brought down to shale, to the lowest depths of the pit. If you haven't figured it out yet, Satan is using social media to prepare his platform to stand against everyone who stands against his kingdom. You are right now being primed for the greatest deceptions to have ever hit this planet earth, and because you are right now being trained to just believe whatever social media wants you to believe, you will buy into the lies. And when you exclude a relationship with God through Jesus Christ from your life, Satan remains your enemy who is all powerful against you, John ten, and you bring about the judgments of God, which in this situation he simply turns you over to freely do your corruptible will, which simply separates you from God and from the wisdom of God. Unfortunately, like those who believe in slavery or the extermination of the Jews, just to name a couple of examples, in the same ignorant spirit that they operated in, ye may well do the same thing, thinking the entire time that you were right in your wrong assessment. Did your face change colours yet? Okay, let's go on to James three, thirteen through fifteen. Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter envy and self seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. Okay, number three. Humans and world community and collective thought or thinking. James three, thirteen through fifteen. Who is wise in understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. So the thing to grasp here is that there is proof that you are wise or claim to be wise, and it is not just words, but also in works, permeated with the character and attributes of God as described in Galatians five, twenty two through twenty three. Now if you claim to be good with God or don't care about him at all, these behaviors will be a part of your life, which distinguishes you absent of godly wisdom and declares you God separated. Romans one twenty nine through thirty two, being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetedness, maliciousness, full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil mindedness, they are whisperers, another word for that is gossipers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful. That's a lot of uns right there. Who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only to do the same, but also approve of those who practice them. Back to James three, fourteen through fifteen. But if you have bitter envy and self seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above, but it is earthly, sensual, and demonic. Okay, so we see where your wisdom is rooted in if you are detached from God, right? You are not a good person outside of a born again experience with God, absent of his wisdom, you are warned to refrain from lying against the truth. I just watched a movie titled Denial, made in 2016, and while it is a courtroom drama starring Rachel Wees as historian Deborah Lipstad, who must prove that the Holocaust happened after being sued for libel in a British court by a Holocaust denier, David Irving. He was caught up in the lies beyond lies and couldn't see it. In spite of the evidence he couldn't see it. He chose this condition using his free will. Can you imagine having to prove something such as the Holocaust? If it happened once it's going to happen again. There are many right now trying to disprove the deity of Jesus. You watch and wait. Back to the good person idea. They sound like, hey, you know I'm a good person and therefore God is good with me. It's a syndrome. Romans three, ten through twelve. As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one. There is none who understands. There is none who seeks after God. They have all turned aside. They have together become unprofitable. There is none who does good, no, not one. You cannot be wise and foolish at the same time. Ah, but you can be good and evil at the same time because both good and evil come from the same tree. The good that most people define as good is grounded in evil somewhere, be it in and through their motivation for doing something, or hundreds of other reasons that prove you are bearing the same fruit of the same tree when you describe yourself as a good person doing good deeds. Genesis two sixteen through seventeen and the Lord commanded the man saying, Of every tree of the garden you may eat freely, but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it, you shall surely die. Okay, so a little wiggly, but we get back to it. Regarding the third category of wisdom based on humans and world community and collective thought or thinking definition three nineteen. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God, for it is written, He catches the wise in their own craftiness. Wisdom from Satan or the world is crafty, and you are crafty when you use it, and even confirms that you are or were more intelligent in using it against someone who was caught off guard. Yes, the crafty brag about their wisdom conquest, even if there is no wisdom in it at all. It cannot be anything else. Imagine if you are a top scientist, physicist, educator, theologian, religious kingcharis, and but detached from God, you are tapping into the wisdom of the world and the corrupted wisdom of Satan. You cannot get to the wisdom of God apart from God Himself. Your efforts and outcomes will be limited no matter what you endeavor to accomplish. Corinthians one eighteen through thirty one. For the message of the cross is foolishness for those who are perishing, that is those who are disconnected from God. But to those who are being saved it is the power of God, for it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For since in the wisdom of God the world through wisdom didn't know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe, for Jews requested a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom, but we preach Christ Jesus crucified. To the Jews it was a stumbling block, and to the Greeks it sounded like foolishness. And but okay, do you see now how it works? When you are absent from the wisdom of God, you, when you do see the wisdom of God, you think it's foolish, when in fact you may have been simply given over to a debased mind. Or Satan has your eyes, ears, and heart, and therefore you are blind, even though you think that you can clearly see. For context, I will reread verse twenty three again. But we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block, and to the Greeks foolishness, but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ, the power of God and the wisdom of God. Ah, do you now ask then who is called? Nope, not really, as the Bible states, no one comes to Jesus but through the Father, and no one to the Father but through Christ. And though God desires that every last human be saved, many, in fact the majority, will reject his offer of eternal salvation for the short term pleasure of sin. Timothy two verses three through four and second Peter three nine. twenty five because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men. Without God you are limited to foolishness and deception in much of your thinking and actions, and it is of your own choosing. That's what makes it kind of laughable. And not to worry, I'm not picking on you. I was in this same place before I got saved. That means this stuff applied to me. Yes, these things are hard to hear, but my friends, we are running out of time, and there's very few people listening anymore. Verse twenty six for you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise, worldly or demonically wise, according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble are called. But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty, and the base things of the world and the things which are despised, God has chosen, and the things which are not to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in his presence, but of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification and redemption, that, as it is written, he who glories, let him glory in the Lord. Now so does this mean all Christians are stupid or absent of the wisdom of God? Nope, quite the opposite, because if we have the Holy Spirit dwelling in us, and this is a ten story if, as we are his temple, Corinthians six, nineteen through twenty, then we have access to the wisdom of God. Notice that I say we have access. Wisdom is not a default Holy Spirit attribute given to anyone who confesses Jesus as their Savior, and asking the question we now must go mining in order to obtain her. Yes, her. Wisdom is a her. Now the rest of this message is progressive in that one thing must happen before the next. Let's follow the scripture progression. And no, it is not intended to start at a beginning or an end. It is a snapshot progression. The idea is to demonstrate how we can move from stupid low level wisdom to God given wisdom. Luke eleven nine through thirteen. So I say to you, ask and it will be given to you. Seek and you will find. Knock and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish? Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him? Notice that we must ask for the Holy Spirit, and then we must have him inside of us in order to move to the next thing. But why must we have him? I thought we were talking about a her wisdom. Let's find out where she's hiding. Revelations five six and I looked and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders stood a lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth. Seven spirits of God, what are they, pray tell? Isaiah tells us precisely what those seven spirits are by function and purpose. Isaiah eleven one through two. There shall come forth a rod from the stem of Jesse, and a branch shall grow out of his roots. This is talking about Jesus. And then it mentions these seven attributes of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, two, the spirit of wisdom, three, the spirit of understanding, four, the spirit of counsel, five, the spirit of might, six, the spirit of knowledge, and seven, the fear of the Lord. All of these spiritual attributes reside in the Holy Spirit, and so now you see why you must obtain the Holy Spirit in order to also get wisdom. But I tell you, wisdom has a sister, and you must also have her active in your life. And so but now therefore Proverbs chapter two and eight will now make sense, and but remember we always retain the option of free will to remain stupid and rely on the wisdom of Satan or of the world, which are both corrupted. Proverbs chapter two, my son, if you receive my words, and treasure my commands within you, so that you incline your ear to wisdom and apply your heart to understanding. Yes, if you cry out for discernment and lift up your voice for understanding, if you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. For the Lord gives wisdom, from his mouth comes knowledge and understanding, he stores up sound wisdom for the upright, he is a shield to those who walk uprightly, he guards the paths of justice, and preserves the way of his saints. Then you will understand righteousness and justice, equity, and every good path. And when wisdom enters your heart and knowledge is pleasant to your soul, discretion will preserve you, understanding will keep you, to deliver you from the way of evil, from the man who speaks perverse things, from those who leave the paths of unrighteousness. Now get when it says from those who lead the paths of unrighteousness, that means they were believers and rejected God. Now you have to go back to Romans chapter one to find out what happens to them. Remember, they are given over to everything unrighteous, to walk in the ways of darkness, who rejoice in doing evil, and delight in the perversity of the wicked, whose ways are crooked, and who are devious in their paths, to deliver you from the immoral woman, from the seductress who flatters with her words, who forsakes the companion of her youth, and forgets the covenant of her God, for her house leads down to death, and her paths to the death. None who go to her return, nor do they regain the paths of life, so you may walk in the way of goodness, and keep to the paths of righteousness, for the upright will dwell in the land, and the blameless will remain in it, but the wicked will be cut off from the earth, and the unfaithful will be uprooted from it. And ladies and gentlemen, this is happening in a very short amount of time. Now before we carry on, did you just discover that wisdom is a necessary part of a bigger picture? Out of that scripture we got wisdom, understanding, discernment, knowledge, and discretion. I would also add another sister titled Instruction, which is a very necessary part of this life. Proverbs chapter eight. Does not wisdom cry out and understanding lift up her voice? She takes her stand on the top of the high hill, beside the way where the paths meet. She cries out by the gates, at the entry of the city, at the entrance of the doors, to you, O men I call, and my voice is to the sons of men. O you simple ones, understand prudence. Okay, so wait, now we have seven sisters of the Holy Spirit. No, that's not it, but we do have the attributes of the Holy Spirit manifesting through these seven relatable parts wisdom, understanding, discernment, knowledge, instruction, prudence, and discretion. Bing Bing Bing, let's define prudence and see if it is a correct word to use in this proverb scripture. Prudence is the ability to govern oneself through reason, acting with wisdom, caution, and good judgment in managing affairs or risks. It represents a balanced, foresighted approach to decision making, often described as practical wisdom or right reason and action. Synonyms include caution, circumspection, sagacity, and foresight. Financial management, exhibiting financial prudence by saving money and avoiding unnecessary risks. Decision making, acting with prudence and negotiation, such as a company leader using foresight before initiating a merger. Daily life, showing prudence by packing an umbrella in case it rains, or planning ahead for potential but unseen obstacles, and I would say, how about reading your Bible every day? Risk mitigation, using prudence in uncertain situations, such as reducing investment exposure during market volatility. Key synonyms of prudence, caution or circumspection, exercising care to avoid danger, wisdom, asogacy, good judgment and practical knowledge, foresight and providence, looking ahead and preparing for the future, discretion and judgment, making sensible, considered decisions. Prudence is regarded as a virtue that balances impulse and over cautiousness, aiding in effective planning and behavior. It is often used in context of managing risk, resources, or behaving responsibly. Alright, back to the rest of the scripture, beginning in verse five. And you fools, be of an understanding heart. So you won't be fools anymore. Hey like that. Listen, for I will speak of excellent things, and from the opening of my lips will come right things, for my mouth will speak it. Remember, this is wisdom talking to us. Wickedness is an abomination to my lips. All the words of my mouth are with righteousness. Nothing crooked or perverse is in them. They are all plain to him who understands, and right to those who find knowledge. Receive my instruction and not silver, and knowledge rather than choice gold. For wisdom is better than rubies, and all the things one may desire cannot be compared with her. I, wisdom, dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge and discretion. The fear of the Lord is to hate evil, pride and arrogance in the evil way, and the perverse mouth I hate. Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom I am understanding, I have strength. By me kings reign, and rulers decree justice, by me princes rule, and nobles, all the judges of the earth. I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently will find me. Notice when she said I am understanding. Now I described it as a sister, but actually wisdom is also understanding, which is an attribute of the Holy Spirit. So although he has seven or eight or nine or whatever attributes, he has seven spirits, and they all work together in one to create the Holy Spirit. Okay, so rejecting Jesus as God and Savior is rejecting God's wisdom, so seek as you may, you cannot find her. Riches and honor are with me, enduring riches and righteousness. My fruit is better than gold, yes than fine gold, and my revenue than choice silver. I traverse the way of righteousness in the midst of the paths of justice, that I may cause those who love me to inherit wealth, that I may fill their treasuries. Now if you have a poverty mindset, then you probably didn't like that last bit, right? Get wisdom and get money to help you and to also help others. Ecclesiastes ten nineteen. A feast is made for laughter and wine makes merry, but money answers everything. Now this isn't a message on money, I have one coming though. But I do only want to share it because most people who don't have money lack the wisdom to put it to work for them. And but now that is again, a message for later, maybe right after this one. Verse twenty two. The Lord possessed me at the beginning of his way, before his works of old, I have been established from everlasting, from the beginning before there was ever an earth, when there were no depths I was brought forth. When there were no fountains abounding with water, before the mountains were settled, before the hills, I was brought forth. While as yet he had not made the earth or the fields, or the primal dust of the world, when he prepared the heavens, I was there, when he drew the circle on the face of the deep, when he established the clouds above, when he strengthened the fountains of the deep, when he assigned to the sea its limits, so that the water would not transgress his commands, when he marked out the foundation of the earth, when I was beside him as a master craftsman, and I was his daily delight, rejoicing always before him, rejoicing in his inhabited world, and my delight was with the sons of men. What is the Holy Spirit saying that he was there, or wisdom is saying this? Both because they are one and the same thing. Genesis one two The earth was without form and void and darkness was on the face of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. All right, verse thirty two. Now therefore listen to me, my children, for blessed are those who keep my ways. Hear instruction and be wise, and do not disdain it. The Bible says that those people who reject instruction are stupid. Verse thirty four. Blessed is the man who listens to me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors, for whoever finds me finds life, and obtains favor from the Lord. But he who sins against me wrongs his own soul, and those who hate me love death. I'd love to say that that's an oxymoron, but the truth is if you hate wisdom or the Holy Spirit, which is the source of wisdom, then truly indeed you love the idea of going to hell. And you may not verbalize it, but somewhere down deep inside of you, if you're rejecting God, you do. It is now fair to say at the end of this message that the Holy Spirit is the wisdom that the Bible is saying we can have, and it's also clear that without the Holy Spirit, you cannot access the wisdom of God because it is a part of the Holy Spirit. Ah, the seven spirits of God John fourteen, sixteen through seventeen. And I will pray the Father and He will give you another helper, that he may abide with you forever. For those people that don't have the Holy Spirit while they're living down here on earth, I don't know how they have the Holy Spirit forever if they don't have a when they're down here. I've not read one scripture that says that when the church gets raptured, whoever doesn't have the Holy Spirit, God will now give it to them upon their rapture. seventeen The Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him, but you know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you. We close with this bit of statistical fact or truth. Wisdom, it's in the Bible two hundred and thirty times, plus or minus. Understanding, it's in the Bible one hundred and fifty nine times. Discernment, it's in the Bible dozens of times, depending on how you say it, meaning you can say discern or discerning or some other use. Knowledge, it's in the Bible one hundred and sixty four times. The Hebrew word for knowledge, or know, appears over nine hundred times in the Bible. Instruction, it's in the Bible thirty three times, plus or minus. But there is more. The concept of instruction, including synonyms like command, law, or teaching, appears frequently throughout Scripture, with over a hundred occurrences in various versions and over one thousand commands in the New Testament alone. Prudence in the Bible three plus or minus times. The related word prudent occurs thirty to forty times in the Bible. Discretion, it's in the Bible nine to twenty times, depending on the translation. What is all of this podcast, preacher? Well, I didn't even include all the scriptures that talk about the Holy Spirit himself. Or that he is also like fire, light, rivers of water, or wells. And so what I'm trying to demonstrate is that we have a significant mountain to hope if we take on the task of seeking wisdom in our sisters. It can be accurately stated that the majority of man-made mistakes that we make are absent of one or more of these Holy Spirit attributes, and it is all based on our free will to choose to seek her or some other method, which of course will fail. God is the wisdom that determines your level of success in your spiritual life with God, and in this life is close and perfect. May the Lord make you increase and abandon love to one another, so that he may establish your high claims and holiness before your God of Father becoming of the Lord Jesus Christ before his saints. Now may the God of peace to one who makes a wonderful country of the high God, everlasting Father fits the peace, may he himself sanctify you completely. And may your whole spiritual and body be preserve blameless to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, to our Lord of Lords and our King of kings, to our high and lifted up great high priest, who has, once and for all, paid the price, that you might see and hear God, may he hear and respond to our prayers. To our God we stand and pray as he too always lives to make intercession for you while seated at the right hand of the Father. May the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do his will, working in you what is well-pleasing in his height.
