Deep Waters
Deep Waters is about understanding and how to apply what's in the Bible. We need the absolute revelation, not interpretation, of God's written voice. Bible and ministry ignorance is one of the greatest plagues we are facing today, (also known as the Laodicean Church age) and I have the most earnest desire to eradicate this plague from our earthly church today. If you want entry level Bible teaching, or no teaching at all then you can attend your local church, but if you want to get to know God, yes really get to know Him intimately then stay tuned into this podcast and get ready to cast off your arm floaties. No, not all churches are missing it, but in saying this, I challenge you to find one that operates as them ol' preacher boys did in the book of Acts. This ministry isn't trying to get the attention of our Lord Jesus by being the biggest most glamorous, most relevant for today's culture church the heavenly host has ever cast their eyes upon. We are after the one's that know that they know, that they know, there has to be more than what most churches are chatting about in these times. And where, by God, is the power that is to accompany the preachers preach? Christian peeps it is time to pluck our Christian heads out of the sands of inefficiencies and ineffectiveness and join our Lord in the battle on the surface of this earth.
The Podcast Preacher challenges you to get lit for God and to listen to these messages and remain the same as you are when you first tuned in. This will be impossible if you are bent on your God obligated Christian activities and calling. Video's and books will come in there time but for now I guarantee you will not remain as you are if you engage in these messages.
The Podcast Preacher is called, appointed, and anointed to help you grow. I have been given the gift of Teacher and it is flowing in and pouring out to all who can hear and see what the Lord is doing these days.
A final word to the wise: you will hear things that you will not hear in more than 95% of today’s churches, and that is fine, that is why God is always using the uncommon man to move His church forward. Each of the more than 470 messages is fully supported by scripture so that you can do your own research and look into these things that God is saying during these no doubt end times. This is not an end times ministry, it is teaching, a getting to know God intimately ministry. It is a ministry of encouragement and of accelerated spiritual growth. The only promise that we can make is if you, yes it is, if you hear and do what is in these messages then normal goes out the window. This is Bible confirmed and backed by the good fruit of this ministry.
1 Cor 3:1-3 - 3 And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. 2 I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able; 3 for you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men?
Much love - your Podcast Preacher

Because You Are Lukewarm And Neither Cold Nor Hot, I Will Vomit You Out of My Mouth

In my previous message titled, “Flee From The Wrath of God”, posted on July 16, 2026, I discussed what hot and cold means in the context of the following scripture. I believe in these end of the end of days that we will need to scholar up on the bible and the things of God. You do not want to be one of those who drop into the tribulation of God because you didn’t listen nor take to heart what I have been teaching in these podcast messages.
Revelation 3:14–16 - 14 “And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write,
‘These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God: 15 “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. 16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.
Again the definition of hot or cold is important to understand least you think as I did for most of my Christian walk that Jesus would prefer you be hot, that is alive for Him in every way, or cold, which I thought meant being unsaved and by your own choosing going to hell in a hand basket. I was wrong as Jesus wasn’t saying this. Again we look at the definition of hot and cold so that we have a deeper revelation as to what Jesus was teaching:
The Context and Meaning
- Historical Connection: Laodicea lacked its own water supply. It piped in hot water from nearby Hierapolis springs (which turned lukewarm and foul-tasting by arrival) and cold water from Colossae.
- Spiritual Meaning: "Hot" water heals and "cold" water refreshes. "Lukewarm" water is useless and causes sickness. Christ uses this to describe a church that is spiritually indifferent, self-satisfied, and physically wealthy but spiritually bankrupt.
Can and should we be both hot and cold? I believe so even though Jesus gives a choice between them. I believe He was talking to the part of the church, this means you, not a building, that had began to slip away from their initial salvation and that their love was growing cold indeed:
Matthew 24:12 - 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.

Hello, this is Kenya Podcast Preacher. Welcome back to my podcast Deep Waters. This podcast is brought to you by Applied Strength Ministry, where we believe working together on our strengths is the effect of working out the will and calling of God and into our lives. Thanks for joining me. Let's open up in prayer. Blessed be the God and Father of your Lord Jesus Christ who has blessed you with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ. Just as he chose you in him before the foundation of the world, that you should be holy and without blame before him in love, having predestined you to adoption as the son or daughter of Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, which he purposed in himself, to the praise or the glory of his grace, by which he made you accepted in the beloved. In him ye have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace which he made to abound towards you in all wisdom and prudence, having made known to you the mystery of his will, that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth in him. Ask that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of the mystery of him, ah, and to the deepest knowledge of him that you are willing and able to receive, that the eyes of your understanding would be open wider, and that you would be enlightened to who he is, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in you, and what is the exceeding greatness of his power towards you who believe according to the working of his mighty power, which he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, that he would grant that you would be strengthened with might through his spirit in the inner man, and in through your spirit and heart, consistently walking in the spirit so that you would be able to stand against the appetites of your flesh, the corrupted spirit of this world, and the devil and his demons in and through any in all fleshly desires and temptations. I pray that your love may abound more and more in all discernment, that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be real about your Christianity, and unoffendable until the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness, love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, which are by Jesus Christ the Holy Spirit to the glory and praise of God. I ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will and all wisdom and spiritual understanding, that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing him, being fruitful in every good work, strengthen with all might according to his glory and power, giving thanks to the Father who has qualified you to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints, who walk by the Spirit and in the light. I pray that your hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, in unity, and that you would attain to all the riches of the full assurance of understanding, both of the Father and of Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which is given to each of my listeners by Christ Jesus, that you are enriched in everything by him, in all utterance and all knowledge, so that you do not come short in obtaining or operating in your calling of purpose, nor in using any spiritual gifts or talent to perform mighty miracles, signs, and wonders, that we would do the greater works of Jesus yet to be accomplished, that we would be found eagerly waiting for the continued revelation of our Lord Jesus, who will confirm you to the end, that you may be blameless in the near coming of the day of our Lord. God is faithful by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son Jesus. Okay, so now therefore, my sisters and brothers in Christ, when things hit tough, think about whatever things are true, noble, just pure, lovely, and whatever things are of a good report. If there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy, meditate on these things alone. I pray that in these very end of the end time days that you would let your love be without hypocrisy. Show people your faith by your works and service and love. Hate and loathe what is evil, cling to what is good and righteous, be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another, not lagging in diligence, fervent and fully engulfed in spiritual fire, serving the Lord, rejoicing in hope, walking in the peace of God, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer, distributing to the needs of the saints that is each other, and that you would be given a hospitality. May the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like minded towards one another, according to Christ Jesus, that we learn to be of one mind and one accord, striving to get along no matter what disagreements we may encounter, operating completely and fully in love, always striving for the working out of God's specific will for each of our lives, while working in partnership with each other within the church and the Holy Spirit, as He manifests His miracle signs and wonders through the daily activities of our ministry and kingdom work, and while we also go out preaching the gospel and word and deed. Let us love and serve one another, our enemy, and those who wouldn't expect us to do so, considering each person better than ourselves. Find up any words or thoughts that are contrary to the love of God or which would set you back in your Christian walk. Guard your hearts from anything that would hinder the growth of your character. Never forget that you can do all things in Christ, and never forget this means all things. Step out in faith today and walk with God and with each other, being assured that nothing will separate you from Him as long as you abide in Him. All those things that don't exist as though they do. Remember the faith of God which we have, created the universe by the ramen and logos word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible. All you need to do for this life is invisible until you apply your faith to receive it, but make your request known to God without fear, doubting, or unbelief. Never forget he that is in you is greater than he that is in the world. Be more than a conqueror today, submitting to the will of God in everything. Always remember that you can do all things through Christ who will strengthen you to this very day. Let each of us express uncompromising love towards one another in humility, while maintaining a teachable spirit seeking to grow, no matter how much it challenges our current thinking. I pray that God will give you the revelation within this message that He intends you to receive with the understanding. Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, to God our Savior, who alone is wise, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. In Jesus' name we pray, amen. The title of this message is Because you are lukewarm and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of my mouth. In my previous message titled Flee from the Wrath of God posted on july sixteenth, twenty twenty six, I discuss what hot and cold mean in the context of the following scripture. I believe in these end of the end of days that we will need to scholar up on the Bible and the things of God. You do not want to be one of those who drop into the tribulation of God because you didn't listen nor take to heart what I have been teaching in these podcast messages. Revelation three fourteen through sixteen and the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, these things says the amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God. I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot, so then because you are lukewarm and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of my mouth. Again, the definition of hot or cold is important to understand. At least you think as I did for most of my Christian walk, which is that Jesus would prefer you to be hot, that is alive for him in every way, or cold, which I thought meant being unsaved, and by your own choosing, going to hell in a handbasket. I was wrong as Jesus wasn't saying this. Again, we look at the definition of hot and cold so that we have a deeper revelation as to what Jesus was teaching. Historical connection. Laodicea lacked its own water supply. It piped in hot water from a nearby Heropolis springs, which turned lukewarm and foul tasting by the time it arrived, and the cold water from Colosse. Spiritual meaning hot water heals, and cold water refreshes. Lukewarm water is useless and causes sickness. Christ used this to describe a church that is spiritually indifferent, self satisfied, and physically wealthy, but spiritually bankrupt. Can and should we be both hot and cold? I believe so, even though Jesus gives a choice between them. I believe he was talking to a part of the church, this means you, not a building, that had begun to slip away from their initial salvation, and that their love was growing cold indeed. Matthew twenty four twelve. And because lawlessness will abound, and my dear listeners, lawlessness is abounding. The love of many will grow cold. He is talking about believers. No doubt Jesus wasn't telling the lukewarm church that one of their choices was to allow their love to grow cold. So in this scripture we need some context so that we understand how Jesus is using the word cold differently than in Revelation three, fourteen through sixteen. In Matthew twenty four twelve it states Jesus warns that as widespread spiritual rebellion increases, the sacrificial, unconditional love, that is agape love of many believers will fade. Two key Greek words define this shift lawlessness, anomia, and grow cold. Sigeltia lawlessness refers to the contempt for God's law, rebellion, and moral decay. Grow cold literally means to extinguish or blow out a fire. It paints a picture of a once warm, blazing fire for God that is slowly smothered by the surrounding wickedness and hostility. This verves as a warning about spiritual survival. When the world descends into chaos, the pressure to conform and the betrayal by false teachers can cause a passionate love for God and others in you to extinguish. John eight four four. You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it. He that is Satan also wears a convincing mask, kind of like we do when we dress up for Halloween, which is a holiday we should not be celebrating as Christians. Second Corinthians eleven thirteen through fourteen. For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder for Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. What a false angel of light looks like will only be detectable by those who took their Christianity serious. John four one. Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. Satan came to do the following to humanity, and this is important to understand. John ten ten, the thief does not come in except to steal and to kill and to destroy. Jesus came that you might have life, that you might have it more abundantly. If you have unrepentant sin, Satan has your permission to perform stealing, killing, and destroying all things in your life. First John four three. And every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming and is now already in the world. And that was stated almost two thousand years ago. Second John 1 7, for many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. Look, alien, which are demons in disguise, like we do on Halloween, are preparing the hearts of believers to pull away from God in masses because they will convince you that they are the ones who planted humanity on this planet. Look, Matthew 24, 24. For false Christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. I call these the A plus Christians, the Jewish nation, because they are the elected of God. Do not make the same mistake that even our beloved Peter made, though he walked with God in the flesh. The story is told in all of the four gospels. I chose Luke's version because of its expressed pain in that Jesus looked at Peter after the final crow. Luke twenty two, fifty-four through sixty-two. Having arrested him, they led him and brought him into the high priest's house. But Peter followed at a distance. Now when they had kindled a fire in the midst of the courtyard and sat down together, Peter sat among them, and a certain servant girl, seeing him as he sat by the fire, looked intently at him and said, This man was also with him. But he denied him, saying, Woman, I do not know him. And after a little while another saw him and said, You also are of them. But Peter said, Man, I am not. Then after about an hour had passed, another confidently affirmed, saying, Surely this fellow also was with him, for he is a Galatian. But Peter said, Man, I do not know what you are saying. Immediately, while he was still speaking, the rooster crowed, and the Lord turned and looked at Peter. Then Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said to him, Before the rooster crows, you will deny me three times. So Peter went out and wept bitterly. If it happened to a great witness who was so committed to Jesus that he left everything to follow him, be careful in these days, and take that short time that we have remaining very seriously. Matthew nineteen twenty seven. Then Peter answered and said to him, See, we have left all and followed you. Therefore, what shall we have? Paul also warns us of spiritual lethargy in these end of time days. Second Timothy four five. But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry. Now this pertained to Timmy, but it still applies to us, even though we might not be called or anointed, to operate as an evangelist. I like the fact that it ends with the statement to fulfill your ministry. Look, first Timothy four fourteen. Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the eldership. Second Timothy one six. Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. Do not neglect the gift, and in fact we should be stirring it up. Constantly reading your Bible, being in a forward, discipling relationship with someone of the same gender is imperative. Matthew twenty eight, nineteen through twenty, and attending a group of believers that has a leadership, that is, equipping the saints for the work of ministry. Ephesians four, eleven through sixteen. Back to the statement that we should take the time that we have remaining very seriously. Revelation three one. Behold, I am coming quickly, hold fast to what you have, that no one may take your crown. How will they get your crown? Through lies and deceptions, as well as by you listening to false doctrines. Revelation twenty two seven. Behold, I am coming quickly. Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book. It's the only book in the Bible that says we are blessed if we read it and understand it. That is the book of Revelation. Revelation twenty two, twelve. And behold, I am coming quickly, and my reward is with me to give to everyone according to his work. So if you're new to this stuff, Jesus is not talking about you working to earn your salvation, but the work you do after your salvation, which is done in appreciation for what God has done for you. In finishing, listen to this scripture and ask yourself how it would be possible for you to swallow the lies of the devil in these very days, hook, line, and sinker. 1 Peter 5.8. Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary, the devil, walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Be sober and villigent means, in the original Greek, Peter used two present active imperatives, niphate and regoristate. This demands continual, ongoing action. Be sober literally means to be free from intoxication. It goes beyond avoiding alcohol and means maintaining a clear, calm, and self-controlled mind. It involves thinking rationally and objectively without being clouded by panic, world trends, or passions. You can look at 2 Corinthians 10 3.6. Be diligent translates to be awake or alert. It implies maintaining a watchful spirit, paying close attention to your surroundings, and staying on guard against spiritual dangers. You can read more on that in Galatians 5.16 and Galatians 5.25. My passion is that you would look into these things yourself, not to just take my word for it. We are made to confirm and to test and to hotly pursue the truth for ourselves. I'm not trying to get you to believe what I'm saying. More than, I'm trying to pique your interest in getting to know the one who has everything under control. Let's close in prayer. May the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all, so that he may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before your God and Father at the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints. Now may the God of peace, the one in whom we call wonderful, Counselor, mighty God, everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace, may He Himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. To our Lord of Lords and our King of Kings, to our high and lifted up great high priest, who has once and for all paid the price, that you might see and hear God, may He hear and respond to our prayers. To our God we stand and pray as He too always lives to make intercession for you while seated at the right hand of the Father. May the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do his will, working in you what is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ to whom be glory forever and ever. Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. To him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus, to all generations, forever and ever, amen. Well that's it for today. Remember it's not what you find wrong or disagree with regarding these messages, but what you can take away from it. Together we can do more to impact the kingdom than if we work alone. Let's flip the script and steal, kill, and destroy the works of the enemy and create space for the light of light to shine through into people's lives. Repost on your social media platforms, and help us make disciple. Link this message out or teach from it in your Bible study, your life or solving. And yes, even in your church, you can be assured it comes from one call to teach, and though imperfect, you have the word of God to use to test everything I say. Let's build this ministry together. Thanks and see you next time at Deep Waters.
