Deep Waters
Deep Waters is about understanding and how to apply what's in the Bible. We need the absolute revelation, not interpretation, of God's written voice. Bible and ministry ignorance is one of the greatest plagues we are facing today, (also known as the Laodicean Church age) and I have the most earnest desire to eradicate this plague from our earthly church today. If you want entry level Bible teaching, or no teaching at all then you can attend your local church, but if you want to get to know God, yes really get to know Him intimately then stay tuned into this podcast and get ready to cast off your arm floaties. No, not all churches are missing it, but in saying this, I challenge you to find one that operates as them ol' preacher boys did in the book of Acts. This ministry isn't trying to get the attention of our Lord Jesus by being the biggest most glamorous, most relevant for today's culture church the heavenly host has ever cast their eyes upon. We are after the one's that know that they know, that they know, there has to be more than what most churches are chatting about in these times. And where, by God, is the power that is to accompany the preachers preach? Christian peeps it is time to pluck our Christian heads out of the sands of inefficiencies and ineffectiveness and join our Lord in the battle on the surface of this earth.
The Podcast Preacher challenges you to get lit for God and to listen to these messages and remain the same as you are when you first tuned in. This will be impossible if you are bent on your God obligated Christian activities and calling. Video's and books will come in there time but for now I guarantee you will not remain as you are if you engage in these messages.
The Podcast Preacher is called, appointed, and anointed to help you grow. I have been given the gift of Teacher and it is flowing in and pouring out to all who can hear and see what the Lord is doing these days.
A final word to the wise: you will hear things that you will not hear in more than 95% of today’s churches, and that is fine, that is why God is always using the uncommon man to move His church forward. Each of the more than 470 messages is fully supported by scripture so that you can do your own research and look into these things that God is saying during these no doubt end times. This is not an end times ministry, it is teaching, a getting to know God intimately ministry. It is a ministry of encouragement and of accelerated spiritual growth. The only promise that we can make is if you, yes it is, if you hear and do what is in these messages then normal goes out the window. This is Bible confirmed and backed by the good fruit of this ministry.
1 Cor 3:1-3 - 3 And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. 2 I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able; 3 for you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men?
Much love - your Podcast Preacher

Spiritual Warfare Is Increasing And You Should Be Feeling, Seeing, and Standing Against It
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
This is a scripture heavy message. We end time saints are front line Christians living in a time that no other generation has experienced. What I mean is that we are experiencing end time chaos like no other time in history. This also is not a shame message but one to help us all to be on point in these very days. Imagine what wonderful opportunities we will have in our Christian lives in days such as ours.
Jesus had access to the battlefield as he did the following in the totality of His ministry:
John 5:19 - 19 Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.
John 12:49-50 - 49 For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak. 50 And I know that His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I speak.”
So, if we also make this practice a part of our relationship with God then the following will be possible:
John 14:12 - 12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.
Eph 4:11-16 - 11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— 16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.
Matt 10:8 - 8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.
Matthew 28:18-20 - 18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
Mark 16:15-20 - 15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” 19 So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. 20 And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.

Hello, this is Kenya Podcast Preacher. Welcome back to my podcast Deep Waters. This podcast is brought to you by Pi Street's Ministry, where we believe working together on our strengths to the effect of working out, will and calling of God and into our lives. Thanks for joining me. Let's open up in prayer. Blessed be the God and Father who Lord Jesus Christ has blessed you with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places in Christ. Just as he showed you in him before the foundation of the world, that you should be holy and without laying before him and I, having predestined you to adopt him as the Son and God of Jesus Christ Himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, which he purposed in himself, to the praise of the glory of his grace, which he made you accepted in the beloved, and him ye have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace, which he made to abound towards you in all wisdom and prudence, having made known to you the mystery of his will, that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times, he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth in him. And to the deepest knowledge of him that you are willing and able to receive, that the eyes of your understanding would be open wider, and that you would be enlightened to who he is, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in you, what is the exceeding greatness of his power for you to believe. According to the working of his mighty power which he worked in Christ, and you raised him from the dead and seated him in his right hand in the heavenly face, that he would grant that you would be strengthened in life to his spirit in the inner man, and in it to your spirit of God, consistently walking in the spirit, so that you would be able to stand against the appetites of the flesh, the corrupted spirit of this world, and the devil and his demons, in and through, any in all flesh with desires and temptations. I pray that your love may abound more and more in all discernment, that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be real about your Christianity, and unoffendable until the day of Jesus Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness, love, joy, peace, long suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control, which are by Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit to the glory and praise of God. I ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will and all wisdom and spiritual understanding, that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing him, being fruitful in every good work, strengthen with all might, according to his glorious power, giving thanks to the Father who has qualified you to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints who walk by the Spirit and in the light. I pray that your hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love and unity, and that you would attain to all the riches of the full assurance of understanding, both of the Father and of Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which has been given to each of my listeners by Jesus Christ, that you are enriched in everything by him, in all utterance and all knowledge, so that you do not come short in obtaining or operating in your calling and purpose, nor in using any spiritual gifts or talents to perform mighty miracles, signs, and wonders, that we would do the greater works of Jesus yet to be accomplished, that we would be found eagerly waiting for the continued revelation of our Lord Jesus, who will confirm you to the end, that you may be blameless in the near coming of the day of our Lord, God is faithful by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son Jesus. Okay, so now therefore, my sisters and brothers in Christ, when things get tough, think about whatever things are true, noble, just pure, lovely, and whatever things are of a good report. If there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy, meditate on these things alone. I pray that in these very end of end time days that you would let your love be without hypocrisy, show people your faith by your works and service and love, hate and loathe what is evil, cling to what is good and righteous, be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor, giving preference to one another, not lagging in diligence, fervent and fully engulfed in spiritual fire, serving the Lord, rejoicing in hope, walking in the peace of God, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer, distributing to the needs of the saints, that is each other, and that you would be given to hospitality. May the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like minded towards one another, according to Christ Jesus, that we learn to be of one mind and one accord, striving to get along, no matter what disagreements we may encounter, operating completely and fully in love, always striving for the working out of God's specific will for each of our lives, while working in partnership with each other within the church and the Holy Spirit, as He manifests His miracle signs and wonders through the daily activities of our ministry and kingdom work, and while we also go out preaching the gospel in word and deed. Let us love and serve one another, our enemy, and those who wouldn't expect us to do so, considering each person better than ourselves. Bind up any words or thoughts that are contrary to the love of God, or which would set you back in your Christian walk. Guard your hearts from anything that would hinder the growth of your character. Never forget that you can do all things in Christ, and never forget this means all things. Step out in faith today and walk with God and with each other, being assured that nothing will separate you from Him as long as you abide in Him. Call those things that don't exist as though they do. Remember the faith of God of which we have created a universe by the Rama and Logos Word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible. All you need for this life is invisible until you apply your faith to receive it, but make your request to God without fear, doubting, or unbelief. Never forget that He that is in you is greater than He that is in the world. Be more than a conqueror today, submitting to the will of God in everything. Always remember that you can do all things through Christ who will strengthen you this very day. Let each of us express uncompromising love towards one another in humility while maintaining a teachable spirit, seeking to grow no matter how much it challenges our current thinking. I pray that God will give you the revelation within this message that He intends you to receive with the understanding. Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to God our Savior, who alone is wise, be glory in majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. In Jesus' name we pray, amen. The title of this message is Spiritual Warfare is increasing, and you should be feeling, seeing, and standing against it. This is a scripture heavy message. We in time saints are frontline Christians living in a time that no other generation has experienced. What I mean is that we are experiencing in time chaos like no other time in history. This also is not a shame message, but one to help all of us to be on point in these very days. Imagine what wonderful opportunities we will have in our Christian lives in days such as ours. Jesus had access to the battlefield as he did the following in the totality of his ministry John five nineteen. Then Jesus answered and said to them, Most assuredly I say to you, the Son can do nothing of himself, but what he sees the Father do, for whatever he does, the Son also does in like manner. Pay attention to that last line. The Son also does, that's one thing, and in like manner is another. He does it the same way that God would do it. John twelve forty nine through fifty for I have not spoken on my own authority, but the Father who sent me gave me a command, what I should say and what I should speak, and I know that his command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, just as a Father has told me, so I speak. So if we also make this a practice, a part of our relationship with God, then the following will be possible John fourteen twelve. Most assuredly I say to you, he who believes in me, the works that I do he will do also, and greater works than these he will do, because I go to my Father. Ephesians four eleven through sixteen This is the scripture that applies to those called in the fivefold ministry, and he himself, that is Jesus, gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we come to the unity of faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but speaking the truth in love may grow up in all things, into him who is the head, Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effect of working by which every part does its share, causes the growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love. Notice the words whole body and every part. That means everybody in the church has a role to play in order to help us to get to where God wants us to go, and what he wants us to be. Matthew ten eight, heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. In that scripture it's easy. Freely you have received. That means you have received the ability, the anointing, and the instruction to heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, and cast out demons. Matthew twenty eight, eighteen through twenty. And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you, and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen. Mark sixteen, fifteen through twenty. And he said to them, Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved, but he who does not believe will be condemned, and these signs will follow those who believe. In my name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues, they will take up serpents, and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them. They will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover. So then after the Lord had spoken to them, he was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God, and they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs, amen. So the confirmation of the word, that is when you go out preaching the gospel, is confirmed by signs and wonders. And he did say early on, he who believes, if signs and wonders aren't following in your ministry, then it has to do with an issue of belief. You can't blame it on what you're taught, because we're taught truth and we're taught lies. But if you're reading the Bible, it will screen out the lies, and like in this scripture, it will tell you what you can do and how to do it. Just like Jesus said earlier, I do and say whatever the Father does and says. Okay, entering into these works will also expose us to the demonic realm. But we have an answer for that as well, right? Each of these scriptures should relate to your life in one way or the other, as occurring and or being necessary for you to pray always. Ephesians six, fourteen through eighteen. Stand therefore, right there it tells us that sometimes we're going to fall. The Bible says though a righteous man falls seven times, he still gets up. That is a righteous man. If you fall and you don't get back up, now you're drawing back or backsliding, and the Bible says that God has no pleasure in those who draw back. Stand therefore having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace, above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one, and take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end, with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints. So there's two things in there that stand out to me. One is how big is your sword? And what I mean by that is I believe the more you read and study the Word of God, the bigger your sword is, which means the longer your reach is, which means God will give you more responsibility than you started out with. The other thing is it says pray always. That is another weapon. Some say that Paul was looking at a Roman guard in prison when he wrote this letter, and at that time the guards always had a lance as well as all of these other pieces, and a lance is praying. So I always pray that God will also give me a lance, which is intercession, because it's not enough to have on the armor. You need to have on the armor because you're shooting at something, right? Otherwise it's just a costume. So when you pray in the spirit, and when you pray to God asking him to do things, as his word says, if you ask me I would do it, as long as it aligns with his heart and what he's told you to do, then you one will have need for the armor, but two, you'll be using your lance. All right, first Thessalonians eight. But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on their breastplate of faith and love, as a helmet the hope of salvation. Isaiah fifty nine seventeen for he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and a helmet of salvation on his head, and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloak. Second Corinthians six seven, by the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left. Romans thirteen twelve. The night is far spent, the day is at hand, therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. Hey, that sounds like another piece of armor, doesn't it? James four seven. Or do you think that the scripture says in vain The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously? But he gives more grace, therefore he says God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. eight. Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Hence, this is why we need our armor. I pray it at night and I pray that in the morning. Romans twelve two, and do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Second Corinthians ten three six for though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled. Matthew eleven twelve. And from the days of John the Baptist till now, the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. Practice these things, and you will find that anything that is not a gift from above can be managed by your active spiritual warfare. James one seventeen. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of Lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. If we are not experiencing spiritual warfare or are seeing an increase in spiritual warfare, something is clearly amiss in your walk. Let us go on a walk journey and imagine if we were shopping, that you could ask that your walk would look somewhat like any one of these very normal Christians. Acts nineteen, thirteen through sixteen. Then some of the itinerant Jewish exorcists took it upon themselves to call on the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying, We exercise you by the Jesus whom Paul preaches. Also there were seven sons of Skeba, a Jewish chief priest who did so as well. So see they thought they were safe, even though they didn't believe in Jesus, to try to exercise the power of Jesus through Paul. I wonder what happened. Well let's see. And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know, but who are you? Then the man in whom the evil spirit was leapt on them, overpowered them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. So does the devil know you? He was actually invited into Paul's life by God himself. Listen to this. Second Corinthians twelve one through nine. It is doubtless not profitable for me to boast. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord. I know a man in Christ who, fourteen years ago, whether in the body, I do not know, or whether out of the body, I do not know. God knows such a one as was caught up to the third heaven, and I know such a man, whether in the body or out of the body, I do not know. God knows. He was caught up into paradise and heard inexpressible words, which is not lawful for a man to utter. Of such a one I will boast, yet of myself I will not boast, except in my infirmities, for though I might desire to boast, I will not be a fool, for I will speak the truth, but I refrained, lest anyone should think me above what he sees me to be or hears from me, and least I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations. A thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan, to buffet me lest I be exalted above measure. Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me, and he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, my strength is made perfect in weakness. Therefore most gladly I would rather boast in my infirmities that the power of Christ may rest upon me. So Paul dealt with trials, tribulations, and testings, and even persecution differently than most Christians do today. I guess this is why he walked in so much power, right? A demon was given to fight off the pride that Paul may have fallen into by his trip into the third heaven, and other such radical miracles. The anointing was so strong on his life that it leaked onto his clothes. Listen, Acts nineteen, eleven through twelve. Now God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul, so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them, and evil spirits went out of them. Could you imagine throwing your socks at somebody and they get delivered? Of course it could be because you've had them on for a week in the summer, I don't know. Your sneakers may smell like they can cast out demons, but only if Satan knows your name. Let's keep jogging. Jesus led Peter with the same love. Listen again. Luke twenty two, thirty one through thirty two. And the Lord said, Simon Simon, indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat, but I have prayed for you that your faith should not fail, and when you have returned to me, strengthen your brethren. So it's a good point to know that when Satan is attacking you, the purpose is to reduce your faith so that you cannot use the power of faith and your anointing to resist him. Now you see I would have had a few questions for Jesus right about this time, like, well, did you squash Satan like a bug? But all Satan's request to hammer Peter did is to get Jesus to pray that Peter's faith would not fail. If I'm being straight up, I may have even questioned the strength of our relationship, friend to friend, right then and there. But that is exactly what Peter did, and voila. He had a chicken nugget of a day for a bit. But now it never ends with Satan, as there is no victory in Christ without evidence. So let's see what the sifting reproduced. Ah, and if Satan only knew, he was actually helping God to disciple one of his own disciples. Acts five, twelve through sixteen. And through the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were done among the people, and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch. Yet none of the rest dared join them, but the people esteemed them highly. It'd be nice if we can get people to esteem the today's church highly, right? Verse fourteen, and believers were increasingly added to the Lord, and we know other scriptures in the book of Acts says that it's God that adds to the church daily those who are being saved. Multitudes of both men and women, so that they brought the sick out into the streets and laid them on beds and couches, that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might fall on some of them. Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed. That's a good condition to find out if your church is running for God properly. Does everybody who comes in sick get healed? Do they get delivered? I'm not saying that there are not exceptions, and there usually are. But a good percentage should be. Satan's efforts turned Peter into a shadow dancer with an anointing that manifested in his shadow. I know this sounds crazy stuff, and but if it wasn't documented in the Bible, I wouldn't believe such stories either. But because it is in the Bible, I want some of it. Okay, just a couple more so that I can make my point. You We have heard of recent reports of shape shifting and transporting. These elemental stories had their origination in the Bible. Second Corinthians eleven fourteen. And no wonder, for Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. And Philip, in my guesstimation, never had to hail a camel taxi. Acts eight thirty nine through forty. Now when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught Philip away, so that the eunuch saw him no more, and he went on his way rejoicing. But Philip was found in the At Azotas, and passing through he preached in all the cities until he came to Caesarea. This was about a twenty or thirty miles away instantaneously. Now you know why he was never late for any zoom meetings. Okay, so I'm hearing one more podcast preacher. Okay, one more it is. So we had this guy Stephen, Acts six, fifteen. And all who sat in the council looking steadfastly at him saw his face as the face of an angel. When people watch your life, do they see the face of a devil or do they see a face of an angel? And I'm not talking about on Halloween. A holiday we should never celebrate. Now you might say that your mommy used to grab your baby little fat cheekies and tell you that you had the face of an angel, but this is not at all what angels look like. And in those days they saw them. Of course we can in our days as well. But are we in a position with God that the sighting of one might not cause us to puff up like a puffer fish? Additionally, what had they experienced for themselves to accuse them of making such a comment and yet still killing him? Isn't that strange? Hey, you have the face of an angel. We're gonna kill you. Alright, so I heard it. One last more podcast preacher. Okay. No doubt we have prayed somewhere in our days growing up as Christians that we want to see God's glory just like Moses. Third day sang a song about it, releasing it on october twenty second, two thousand one. But my thought is that we would have to be really good friends of God and not just a servant but a friend, and but also at least as humble as Moses was. Numbers twelve three. Exodus thirty four, twenty nine through thirty five. Now it was so when Moses came down from Mount Sinai, and the two tablets of the testimony were in Moses' hands when he came down from the mountain, that Moses did not know that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him, that is God. So when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone, and they were afraid to come near him. Then Moses called to them, and Aaron and all the rulers of the congregation returned to him, and Moses talked with them. Afterwards all the children of Israel came near, and he gave them as commandments, all that the Lord had spoken with him on Mount Sinai. And when Moses had finished speaking with them, he put a veil on his face. But whenever Moses went in before the Lord to speak with him, he would take the veil off until he came out, and he would come out and speak to the children of Israel whenever he had been commanded. And whenever the children of Israel saw the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses' face shone, then Moses would put on the veil on his face again until he went in to speak with him, that is the Lord. If you were wondering, and I suspect not, where the bride veil came from, it was right here. When the groom lifts the veil, he should be as excited to see her face as you should be if you saw the glory of God. Of course this won't work if you adopt the American way of relationships by dating and having sex outside of marriage. Okay, so that was a fun journey that originally started with the question does Satan know your name? Look at how the devil dealt with Jesus from the beginning. Luke fourteen thirteen. Now when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from him until an opportune time. This means that Satan wasn't going to stop trying to trip Jesus up. One battle loss is insufficient to thwart Satan. We do not seek the devil, but rather he will seek you if you are doing the work of an authentically born again believer. Now if you think, well my life is a mess, so I must be good with God, you may be in error depending on if you are being honest with yourself. For what credit is it if when you are beaten for your faults, that you take it patiently? But when you do good and suffer, if you take it patiently, this is commendable before God. Notice when he says when you do good and suffer, in other words, you're suffering for acting like God instead of like a fool. If you get punished for acting like a fool, there is no credit to you. And that doesn't mean, hey, God must be working in my life because I'm under a lot of pressure. If it's because you're acting like a fool, no, God is not working. He may use it to bring you out of that mess, but it wasn't from him. Hebrews twelve six through thirteen. For whom the Lord loves, he chastens, and scourges every son whom he receives. Notice it doesn't say he puts him in time out. If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons, for what son is there whom the Father does not chasten? But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons. Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more be readily in subjection to the Father of spirits and live? For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but he that is God, for our prophet, that we may be partakers of his holiness. Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful, nevertheless, after it yields a peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. Therefore, strengthen the hands which hang down and the feeble knees, and make straight the paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed. That's me more of God, right? I say this because this message had a lot of scripture, but that just means the message would be more accurate than if I just yakked on and on.
