So I asked Google AI, the leading supporting question to the message which is, did Jesus have a good understanding of what His purpose was from beginning to end, for His life? The first portion is a representative sample with some simple explanation along with some scriptural support. First, we will see if Jesus coming and the purpose thereof was spoken about in the Old Testament so as to see if we were given a head start into why Jesus, when He came upon earth, in what manner He would die. Now keep in mind that Jesus is the Word of God and so if it is written down in the bible it would not catch Jesus off guard. In some of the explanations about the scripture, or basic summaries, I will include the actual scripture because often times it provides a more clearer picture:

The primary passages in the Bible that explicitly identify Jesus as the "Word" or the "Word of God" are found in the writings of the apostle John.

Key Scriptures

·        John 1:1"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

·        John 1:14"And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth." (This verse connects the "Word" directly to Jesus Christ).

·        Revelation 19:13"He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and the name by which he is called is The Word of God."

·        1 John 1:1"That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we looked upon and have touched with our hands, concerning the word of life—"

Is it any wonder considering how close John was, in that, traditionally speaking, he was called the apostle of love, was so close to Jesus knowing that he knew who Jesus was beyond just flesh and blood?
