Deep Waters
Deep Waters is about understanding and how to apply what's in the Bible. We need the absolute revelation, not interpretation, of God's written voice. Bible and ministry ignorance is one of the greatest plagues we are facing today, (also known as the Laodicean Church age) and I have the most earnest desire to eradicate this plague from our earthly church today. If you want entry level Bible teaching, or no teaching at all then you can attend your local church, but if you want to get to know God, yes really get to know Him intimately then stay tuned into this podcast and get ready to cast off your arm floaties. No, not all churches are missing it, but in saying this, I challenge you to find one that operates as them ol' preacher boys did in the book of Acts. This ministry isn't trying to get the attention of our Lord Jesus by being the biggest most glamorous, most relevant for today's culture church the heavenly host has ever cast their eyes upon. We are after the one's that know that they know, that they know, there has to be more than what most churches are chatting about in these times. And where, by God, is the power that is to accompany the preachers preach? Christian peeps it is time to pluck our Christian heads out of the sands of inefficiencies and ineffectiveness and join our Lord in the battle on the surface of this earth.
The Podcast Preacher challenges you to get lit for God and to listen to these messages and remain the same as you are when you first tuned in. This will be impossible if you are bent on your God obligated Christian activities and calling. Video's and books will come in there time but for now I guarantee you will not remain as you are if you engage in these messages.
The Podcast Preacher is called, appointed, and anointed to help you grow. I have been given the gift of Teacher and it is flowing in and pouring out to all who can hear and see what the Lord is doing these days.
A final word to the wise: you will hear things that you will not hear in more than 95% of today’s churches, and that is fine, that is why God is always using the uncommon man to move His church forward. Each of the more than 470 messages is fully supported by scripture so that you can do your own research and look into these things that God is saying during these no doubt end times. This is not an end times ministry, it is teaching, a getting to know God intimately ministry. It is a ministry of encouragement and of accelerated spiritual growth. The only promise that we can make is if you, yes it is, if you hear and do what is in these messages then normal goes out the window. This is Bible confirmed and backed by the good fruit of this ministry.
1 Cor 3:1-3 - 3 And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. 2 I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able; 3 for you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men?
Much love - your Podcast Preacher

What Is The Difference Between The First And Second Coming
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
These next two messages will be based on differences. I just did one based on the differences between the 1st and 2nd resurrections, and the differences between the 1st and 2nd death. These are the differences between specific end time events. Since we are told more than 30 times to be watching we might want to know when prophetic scriptures occur so that we know the time of His visitation. Ah no but more accurately the timeline of His return within reason.
These next two messages will not be long but packed with spiritual clarity. There may be some overlap which cannot be helped as many of these end time differences touch each other.
The main difference between the first and second coming is that Jesus came the first time in humility as a baby to save people from sin, but he will come the second time in power and glory as a King to judge the world and rule.
The First Coming also known as the first advent:
Advent means:
- Arrival: The coming of a notable person, event, or invention.
Christian Tradition
- The Season: A four-week period of waiting and preparation before Christmas.
- Start of the Church Year: It marks the beginning of the liturgical year in Western Christianity.
- Two Focuses: Believers reflect on the first coming of Jesus at his birth and look forward to his second coming.
- Form: Jesus came as a human baby born in a humble manger in Bethlehem.
- Purpose: He came as the "Suffering Servant" and the "Lamb of God" to die on the cross and pay for human sin.
- Reception: His arrival was quiet and witnessed by only a few shepherds and magi; the world largely ignored or rejected him.
- Status: It is a historical event that already happened roughly 2,000 years ago.
The Second Coming (The Return)...

Hello, this is Ken, your podcast preacher. Welcome back to my podcast Deep Waters. This podcast is brought to you by Applied Strengths Ministry, where we believe working together on our strengths is the effect of working out the will and calling of God in and through our lives. Thanks for joining me. Let's open up in prayer. Blessed be the God and Father of your Lord Jesus Christ who has blessed you with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as he chose you and him before the foundation of the world, that you should be holy and without blame before him in love, having predestined you to adoption as our son or daughter by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, which he purposed in himself, to the praise of the glory of his grace by which he made you accepted in the beloved. In him ye have the redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace which he made to abound towards you in all wisdom and prudence, having made known to you the mystery of his will, that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times you might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth in him. I ask that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation, and knowledge of the mystery of him, and to the deepest knowledge of him that you are willing and able to receive, that the eyes of your understanding would be open wider, and that you would be enlightened to who he is, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in you, and what is the exceeding greatness of his power towards you who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, which he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, that he would grant that you would be strengthened with might through his spirit in the inner man, and into your spirit and heart, consistently walking in the spirit, so that you would be able to stand against the appetites of your flesh, the corrupted spirit of this world, the devil and his demons, and any and all fleshly desires and temptations. Pray that your love may abound more and more in all discernment, that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be real about your Christianity, and unoffendable until the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness, love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, which are by Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit, to the glory and praise of God. I ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will and all wisdom and spiritual understanding, that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing him, being fruitful in every good work, strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, giving thanks to the Father who has qualified you to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints who walk by the Spirit and in the light. I pray that your hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love and unity, and that you would attain to all the riches of the full assurance of understanding, both of the Father and of Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which has been given to each of my listeners by Jesus, that you are enriched in everything by him, in all utterance and all knowledge, so that you do not come short in obtaining or operating in your calling and purpose, nor in using any spiritual gifts or talents to perform mighty miracle signs and wonders, and that we would do the greater works of Jesus yet to be accomplished. That we would be found eagerly waiting for the continued revelation of our Lord Jesus, who will confirm you to the end, that you may be blameless in the near coming of the day of our Lord, God is faithful by whom you are called into the fellowship of His Son Jesus. Okay, so now therefore, my sisters and brothers, when things get tough, think about whatever things are true, noble, just, pure, lovely, and whatever things are of a good report. If there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy, meditate on these things alone. I pray that in these very end of end time days that you would let your love be without hypocrisy. Show people your faith by your works and service in love, hate and loath what is evil, cling to what is good and righteous, be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, and honor giving preference to one another, not lagging in diligence, fervent and fully engulfed in spiritual fire, serving the Lord, rejoicing in hope, walking in the peace of God, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer, distributing to the needs of the saints, that is each other, and that you would be given the hospitality. May the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like minded towards one another, according to Christ Jesus, that we learn to be of one mind and one accord, striving to get along, no matter what disagreements we may encounter, operating completely and fully in love, always striving for the working out of God's specific will for each of our lives, while working in partnership with each other within the church and the Holy Spirit, as He manifests His miracle signs and wonders through the daily activities of our ministry and kingdom work, and while we also go out preaching the gospel in word and deed. Let us love and serve one another, our enemy, and those who wouldn't expect us to do so, considering each person better than ourselves. Find up any words or thoughts that are contrary to the love of God or which would set you back in your Christian walk. Guard your hearts from anything that would hinder the growth of your character. Never forget that you can do all things in Christ, and never forget this means all things. Step out on faith today and walk with God and with each other, being assured that nothing will separate you from Him as long as you abide in Him. Call those things that don't exist as though they do. Remember the faith of God of which we have created the universe by the Rama and Logos Word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of the things that are visible. All you need for this life is invisible until you apply your faith to receive it, but make sure you make your request known to God without fear, doubting, or unbelief. Always remember that He that is in you is greater than He that is in the world. Be more than a conqueror today, submitting to the will of God and everything. Never forget that you can do all things through Christ who will strengthen you this very day. Let each of us express uncompromising love towards one another in humility while maintaining a teachable spirit, seeking to grow no matter how much it challenges our current thinking. I pray that God will give you the revelation within this message that He intends you to receive with the understanding. Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to God our Savior, who alone is wise. Be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. In Jesus' name we pray, amen. The title of this message is What is the difference between the first and second coming? These next two messages will be based on differences. I just did one based on the difference between the first and second resurrections and the difference between the first and second death. These are the differences between specific end time events. Since we are told more than thirty times to be watching, we might want to know when prophetic scriptures occur so that we know the time of his visitation, but know more accurately the timeline of his return within reason. These next two messages will not be long but packed with spiritual clarity. There may be some overlap, which cannot be helped as many of these end time differences touch each other. The main difference between the first and second coming is that Jesus came the first time in humility as a baby to save people from sin, but he will come the second time in power and glory as a king to judge the world and rule. The first coming is also known as the first advent. Advent means arrival, the coming of a notable person, event, or invention. Christian tradition, the season, a four week period of waiting and preparation before Christmas. Start of the church year, it marks the beginning of the liturgical year in Western Christianity. Two focuses believers reflect on the first coming of Jesus at his birth and look forward to his second coming. The form Jesus came as a human baby born in a humble manger in Bethlehem. Purpose He came as the suffering servant and the lamb of God to die on the cross and pay for human sins. Reception, his arrival was quiet and witnessed by only a few shepherds and magi. The world largely ignored or rejected him. Status, it is a historical event that already happened roughly two thousand years ago. The second coming, or the return. Form, Jesus will return visibly in the clouds with great glory accompanied by heavenly armies. Purpose, he will come to defeat evil, judge the nations, reward believers, and establish his eternal kingdom on earth. Reception, his return will be public and universal. The Bible says every eye will see him. Status, it is a future event that has not yet happened, but as soon will. Okay, so now that would be a wrap, except that there is some clarity needed insofar as what is not defined as a second coming. And yes, we will once again be referring to the rapture event. So my question to AI is, do people define the rapture as Jesus' second coming? My response is as the following No, many Christians separate the two events, while others define the rapture as part of or the exact same event as Jesus' second coming. Before we go down this finally dusted road again, we must interrupt a regular social media and TV programming by the podcast preacher to broadcast an alert message detailing a possible misconception about the second coming of Christ and its timing. Thessalonians four, sixteen through seventeen, for the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air, and thus we shall always be with the Lord. So although he is returning at this time, it is for a specific purpose, which is the rapture. We go to him, but he doesn't come to us, not on earth, and not at this time. Back to the question, do people define the rapture as Jesus' second coming? The separated view many modern evangelical groups teach that these are two different events. Now I won't interrupt every statement, but this is why we need to read our Bibles so that we can confirm what people say. Just because we have groups that agree on a specific thing does not mean that we accept it as the gospel truth, without ourselves putting in the work to verify and to confirm that it is a truth. Remember, AI is ninety nine percent opinions of other people on social media in research. It doesn't have its own opinion about anything. The rapture. Jesus comes in the clouds to take believers to heaven. This happens before a period of great trouble called the tribulation. Now I know, I know, but it may help to understand that yes, Jesus is coming to rapture the church, but he remains in the air to take away his bride church. And but maybe now it is also a good time to bring in another truth, which is that he along with we will be returning with him to rule and reign during the millennial reign. The second coming, Jesus returns visibly to the earth with his believers to defeat evil and set up his kingdom. This happens after the tribulation. Okay, so maybe I will interrupt every single statement along with asking a question within this definition in order to bring understanding for me and you, and but also to bring accuracy and clarity to these end time events. Let's look again at the end times timeline for clarity and perspective, a timeline that I agree with because I can support it with the Bible. The rapture, Christ meets believers in the air to take them to heaven, which occurs before the seven year tribulation. The tribulation, a time of severe global trouble on earth. Christ and his church are in heaven. The second coming, Jesus physically returns to earth with his saints to defeat his enemies at the end of the tribulation, the millennial reign, Jesus rules on the earth from Jerusalem for a thousand years alongside his church. Okay, so after all that, I was prompted to ask another question, which, by the way, may send the message to you that I am also learning right along with you. So for this short message, I am inviting you into my learning style. Thanks for staying with me on this curvy journey. The question I asked is, is the second coming and the millennial reign the same thing? It kind of sounds like some believe that it is. But let's look at what pulled up. No, the second coming and the millennial reign are not the same thing. The second coming is a physical return of Jesus Christ to earth, while the millennial reign is a thousand year period of peace and rule that happens after he returns. So the second coming, what is it? The visible bodily return of Jesus to earth. What it does, it brings judgment, defeats evil rulers, and ends earthly suffering. Duration, it is a single, momentous event rather than an extended period of time. The millennial reign, what is it? A literal one thousand year period where Christ rules the world with his church. Where it happens? Christ rules directly from Jerusalem over the nations. What is it like? The earth experiences total peace, universal justice, and prosperity. Another question, does Jesus go back to heaven after the millennial reign and then return to earth for the battle of Armageddon? The sequence of events in biblical eschatology. Battle of Armageddon occurs at the end of the tribulation when Jesus returns from heaven to earth to defeat his enemies. The millennial reign immediately follows Armageddon. Jesus reigns physically as king on earth from Jerusalem for a thousand years. End of the millennium, Satan is released for a brief final test and rebellion, is defeated, and the great white throne judgment takes place, leading into the eternal state, the new heaven and new earth. So those who believe the second coming is the rapture, and we know many don't even believe this often repeated event in the Bible, but for those that do, we must understand that the rapture and being caught up in the air is not defined as Jesus' second coming, as some believe. Because if we apply spiritual logic, then what do they call it when Jesus returns from heaven with his saints to rule and reign on the earth for a thousand years? The timeline would look like this the birth of Jesus, first coming, the rapture, Jesus' second coming, his return to rule and reign for a thousand years, the third coming? This algebra doesn't pan out. And I know for some they simply throw out the rapture to fit their thinking and to bend the Bible in the direction of their own natural mind. This thinking again would mean that there is a third coming which is nowhere listed in the Bible. So in finishing, the first coming or advent was the birth of Jesus, and the second coming comes after the seven year tribulation and before the one thousand year millennial reign. For the sake of an approximate timeline, the twenty-one judgments of God are what some define as to occur during the seven year tribulation. I disagree. And you do not have to agree with me, but I disagree believing that the seven seals, the seven trumpets, and the seven bowls equaling twenty-one judgments, that the sealed judgments are the birth pangs Jesus talked about in the following scriptures. Jesus talks about the birth pangs, also translated as birth pains or beginning of sorrows, during the Olivet discourse found in Matthew 24, 4 through 8, and Mark 13, 5 through 8. Jesus warns his disciples about false messiahs, wars, famines, and earthquakes, including in verse 8, all these are the beginning of birth pains. And in Mark he says, a parallel account where Jesus gives a similar warning about the signs of the end of the age, stating in verse 8 that these troubles are the beginning of birth pains. In Luke 21, 9 through 11, while the exact phrase birth pains is not used here, Luke records the same foundational teaching from Jesus about wars, insurrections, earthquakes, famines, and plagues preceding the end. The meaning of the metaphor, escalating signs. Just like labor contractions, these global troubles and disasters start an increase in both frequency and intensity, not the end yet. Jesus explicitly notes that when these events happen, the end is not yet immediate. They are only the beginning. Without going into a great discourse about the end time signs, I would agree that we are definitely in the birth pangs or pains, which represents, in my belief, the seven seal judgments. The last fourteen of twenty-one judgments will occur after the church is raptured. So what seal are we on? I believe based on reading books from some very creditable authors and ministers, such as Steve Ciolani, who recently wrote a book titled The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, The Great Warning of the Next Ten Years, stated that we are in the second seal and will enter into the third seal season by the end of this year, 2026, and possibly the beginning of 2027. So far, so true, so let's follow the timeline until it is no longer true. We Christians must be adjustable and flexible in what we think we know. I intentionally didn't invite all of the varying and differing views on this end-time event, as it breeds too much confusion. Yes, I did a little, but not nearly as much as is out there in religious land. I close with this: you get to decide what you want to believe, and I expect that it will always work this way, anyways. But in shaping your spiritual belief system, always go with what the Bible clearly states. And if you do not understand a specific revelation, be open and cautious, simultaneously. I should finish this message before Jesus comes back. Let's close in prayer. May the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all, so that he may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before your God and Father at the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints. Now may the God of peace, the one in whom we call wonderful, Counselor, mighty God, everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace, may He Himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. To our Lord of Lords and our King of Kings, to our high and lifted up, great high priest, who has once and for all paid the price, that you might see and hear God, may He hear and respond to our prayers. To our God we stand and praise, He too always lives to make intercession for you, while seated at the right hand of the Father. May the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do his will, working in you what is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom we glory forever and ever. And to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. To him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever, amen. Well, that's it for today. Remember, it's not what you find wrong or disagree with what we're reading these messages, but what you can take away from it. Together we can do more to impact the kingdom than if we work alone. Let's flip the script and kill, steal, and destroy the works of the enemy, and create space for the light of life to shine through into people's lives.
